Pearson Partners is teaming with professors from TCU Neeley School of Business and Texas A&M University Mays Business School on a groundbreaking survey of board directors. Stephen Konstans was a panelist at a virtual discussion in May for the Wharton Club of Dallas/Fort Worth, discussing executive career-related issues in the local job market, retained executive search and the North Texas business climate.
Renee Arrington continued her national speaking circuit, this time virtually, at the HMG Live! 2020 Houston CIO Virtual Summit on May 1. HMG Live!, part of HMG Strategy’s national CIO Summits, is a series of virtual interviews and virtual summits focused on key aspects of courageous leadership during times of global crisis. Renee participated in a virtual panel centered in Houston, discussing Leading Courageously Through a Crisis. The event drew a record-breaking 367 participants.
In May, Carolyn Simons was a panelist on a virtual discussion for the Women Business Leaders of the US Healthcare Industry Foundation. The panel discussed Network Into the Boardroom – Advice from Break into the Boardroom Leaders. WBL promotes greater representation of female healthcare executives on boards within the public, private and non-profit sectors.
Renee Arrington was a panelist in May on a SIM Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter virtual meeting discussing Job Searching During Quarantine and Beyond.
In March, Renee Arrington was a presenting speaker for the Dallas Software Lunch Bunch Meetup group (of which she is a member), an informal group of current and former C-level software executives in Dallas. The panel discussed Joining Corporate Boards of Directors.
Renee Arrington was a panelist in a March webinar hosted by AESC’s BlueSteps, discussing Could You Earn More? The How-To’s of Salary Negotiation. BlueSteps is a career service of the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (of which Pearson Partners is a member), offering career resources and strategies for senior-level executives.
In February, Pearson Partners co-sponsored a dinner event for TeXchange-DFW (of which Stephen Konstans is a founding member), featuring author and serial entrepreneur Lea Ellermeier, who discussed When Things Don’t Go As Planned: An Entrepreneurial Journey from Success to Failure and Back Again.

Renee Arrington has been named President & Chief Operating Officer of Pearson Partners International. Renee will continue in her executive search capacity, leading our CIO & IT Leadership practice group and our Fort Worth, Texas office.
Stephen Konstans has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Financial Officers Practice Leader. In this capacity, Stephen will lead our executive search and business development initiatives for senior-level financial executives, including CFOs and their leadership teams.
Keith Pearson has been elected chair of the board of trustees for 2019–2020 of the North Texas Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A longtime, avid fundraiser, volunteer and member of the chapter’s Team in Training, Keith has served as an advisory board member for the North Texas chapter since 2010.
Renee Arrington has been named program co-chair for 2019–2020 of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) North Texas Chapter.

In her role as board chair for the Foundation of the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) of Fort Worth, Renee Arrington presented at the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) DFW February meeting, along with Executive Director Courtney Radcliffe, where they shared the mission and impact of the YWLA organization. Lisa Thompson was appointed Chair of the Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Advisory Council for a two-year term. The Carr P. Collins Social Service Center is the largest multi-use facility in the world for Salvation Army. It houses up to 600 people per night serving the DFW area and provides emergency support services, shelter, substance abuse programs, veterans programs and meals to people in need.
